Greetings, Delegates!

Welcome to the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). I am Sebastián Cervantes Gómez, your President, and it is an honor to welcome you to this committee.

I would also like to introduce Camila González Ochoa, your Moderator, who will guide you throughout the sessions, and Megan Elizarraraz Pérez, your Conference Officer, who will assist you with the logistical aspects of the committee.

Throughout this experience, I hope each of you can develop your skills in diplomacy, negotiation, and public speaking while working together to address important issues related to gender equality, women’s empowerment, and human rights.

As your Chair, we look forward to witnessing meaningful debates, active participation, and realistic solutions to the topics of our committee. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us or the Secretariat.
